these few days, i have been wearing wedges to work.. and i would say that this pair of shoes is now my new-found best friend! hahah! omg, its gonna be an embarrassingly bimbotic post, but whatever la! haha.
today, i wore my dress, a blazer, this pair of love, contacts, makeup, "workish" bag, txting on my e71, tugging my hair to one side, and walking down the aisle of 4 halls in singapore expo.. which is about 10 minutes walk.. totally gave me the confidence! i felt like, im a career woman! lol! although my job is nothing efficient, basically just sitting there .. looking good, smiling at guests, giving them brochures and tell them what we are about .. and if not, just get paid staring into space or bombard my spanish colleagues with the almost negligible spanish words i know. hahha! but just felt.. really good about myself. i was practically SASHAYING!lol! and u know, the embarrassing thing was, i could have saved the 10 minutes walk by taking a shuttle bus x= lol! but i chose to walk. it felt DAMN good. i felt like singing, "it feels good. da-na-na-na-na-na-na.. *deng deng* so good *deng deng* so goooood". i felt sooooo "sex in the city"-ish.. so sarah jessica parker-ish! i felt that i was pretty and confident. though i looked probably overestimated myself .. but whatever~ teeheeeeheeee. but tomorrow will be the last day. thank god! my feet hurts la! as in, theres lotsa dead skin from all the rubbing of skin along the insides of the shoes... and blisters. and my feet are damn suan. but then, the feeling .. is really gooooOOOood! i can really superficial ar? like living in some lala land of my own like that. its like.. i dont even dress up when i worked in mazars! hahaha. oh mannn. tmr's the last day of work. i love working for the spanish! si!! hahaha. seriously felt so ATAS! ((: think i might invest in another pair of wedges when i have the spare cash!
really so broke at the moment! its like, i've been using my disposable shaver.. until.. its not even sharp anymore. i know its only $1.95 a pack, but when u're livin on your piggy bank, $1.95 is a lot. plus, transportation expense is fucking huge! i just topped up $10 on monday.. and i only have.. $2 today. omg! ]= okok. pay's coming in soon! shirley, u have to persevere!
